Cancellations

Your direct reservation is made with Lee House / the Management and represents a legally binding contract between us. We will require a deposit taken against a valid credit/debit card to secure the booking. A minimum of 7 days notice of cancellation or amendment of any reservation is required to avoid a cancellation charge as detailed below.

Bookings can be cancelled up to 1 week before 19:00 on the day of check in free of charge. 
Bookings cancelled less than 1 week before 19:00 on the day of check in will incur a charge of the first night's stay.
Bookings cancelled less than 2 hours before 19:00 on the day of check in will incur a charge of 100% of the booking total.
Non-arrival on the day of check in will incur a charge of 100% of the booking total.
We will make every endeavour to re-let the room. If the room can be re-let to the full value of the cancelled booking there will be no charge. In order to avoid this undesirable situation, we would strongly advise you to arrange holiday insurance cover. In the event of a delayed arrival or early departure, there can be no credit for room nights or meals not taken during your stay.We will charge any credit/debit card charges incurred in processing the original deposit and any subsequent refunds to the cardholder.

Where credit/debit card charges are incurred in processing the deposit payment and refund payment these will be charged back to the cardholder. We will notify the cardholder of any such charges if we have a valid email address. If the booking was made via Booking.com it remains the responsibility of the guest to notify Lee House of the email address.

We reserve the right to cancel a booking with a full refund after confirmation has been received.

We also reserve the right to terminate your stay without being liable for any refund or compensation when discomfort or distress is caused to other guests.

You can check in between 4-7pm on the day of arrival. On the day of departure please vacate your room by 10.30am.

Whilst we endeavour to supply your first choice of accommodation we reserve the right to change the room if and where necessary. There will be no extra charge in the event of an upgrade.

Reservations



You are deemed to have agreed to these terms and conditions when making a reservation.We respectfully remind guests that a reservation, whether made online, by email, telephone or letter is a legally binding contract.



To secure a booking we require a minimum deposit equal to the cost of a 1 night stay (per room booked) charged at the full single night rate.

Change of booking details



Subject to availability and at our discretion, we may agree a request for minor alterations to bookings up to 2 weeks before the date of arrival, but any reduction in the number of nights and/or guests booked constitutes a part cancellation and will be treated on a pro-rata basis.Bookings that cannot be rescheduled in the current season may be treated as a cancellation on the part of the guest and the cancellation policy will apply.



No refund or reduction will be made for last minute changes to your booking including late arrival, meals not taken, temporary absence or departure earlier than booked (including early departure notified after arrival).



Miscellaneous



Lee House is a non-smoking and non vaping establishment.



We understand that accidents can happen, but we reserve the right to recover the cost of making good any significant damage, breakages, costs for deep cleaning rooms tainted by smoking or other strong aromas, and replacing lost keys.
